Universal beams (UB) — also called steel I-beams — are hot-rolled structural sections with wide flanges, used as the primary load-bearing members in floors, roofs and building frames. We supply the full range of universal beams from 150 UB to 610 UB in Grade 300 to AS/NZS 3679.1, with mill test certificates and full traceability. Cutting, drilling and surface treatment are available to suit your fabrication programme.

Universal Beam (UB) Sizes
Standard Australian universal beam designations to AS/NZS 3679.1 in Grade 300. The leading number is the nominal depth in millimetres; the trailing figure is the mass per metre.
