Steel flat bar is a solid rectangular-section merchant bar used throughout fabrication for brackets, frames, base plates, straps and general engineering. We supply mild steel flat bar across the full range of widths and thicknesses to AS/NZS 3679.1, alongside round and square bar. Available black or hot-dip galvanised, cut to length, with material certification.

Can flat bar be supplied galvanised or cut to size?
Yes. Flat bar can be cut to length, drilled and hot-dip galvanised before delivery, which saves handling and coating time on site.
