Rectangular Hollow Section (RHS)

A tubular steel section with a rectangular cross-section, commonly used for structural framing, purlins, and general construction.

Rectangular hollow sections are cold-formed steel tubes with a rectangular profile. They combine structural efficiency with flat surfaces that simplify connections and cladding attachment. RHS are widely used for welded steel frames (portal frames, shed and carport frames, mezzanines and trailer chassis), purlins, girts, mullions, and general fabrication. Available in a range of sizes from 50x25mm to 400x300mm. Manufactured to AS/NZS 1163 in Grade C350L0 and C450L0.
