A tubular steel section with a circular cross-section, used for columns, structural members, and architectural applications.
Circular hollow sections are manufactured by cold-forming and welding steel strip into a tube, or by seamless extrusion. Their symmetrical shape provides uniform structural properties in all directions, making them efficient for columns and compression members. CHS are commonly used for architectural features, handrails, and structural applications where aesthetics matter. Manufactured to AS/NZS 1163.
